ABOUT THE BELVEDERE TIBURON LIBRARY FOUNDATION The Belvedere Tiburon Library Foundation’s mission is to support the Belvedere Tiburon Library through fundraising projects, private philanthropy, and advocacy. The Foundation is currently leading a Capital Campaign to raise the funds necessary to ensure that the Library meets the community’s needs. The Belvedere Tiburon Library currently offers over 1,000 annual programs serving children, teens, adults and seniors. The library is open seven days a week. More than 90% of the residents in the community own a library card. Private support has made it possible for community members to access the latest technology, enjoy toddler story time, read books, seek information, participate in art programs, hear inspiring speakers, learn to code, take part in a book group, have an office away from home, obtain homework help, and so much more. 

POSITION OVERVIEW The Director will work in concert with the Foundation Board to create and implement a strategic direction and comprehensive development plan that will include completion of the current capital campaign, annual campaign, major gift, corporate and foundation giving, endowment giving and planned giving programs. 

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS The Director reports to the Board of Directors of the Library Foundation. The position currently manages one full-time Office Manager, who is responsible for the database and other administrative duties.
